Dorset Council is to submit a compulsory purchase order to the Secretary of State for land in Bridport.

The land is at 12 Princess Road having an area of approximately 364m2.

If the order is confirmed, it will authorise the council to purchase compulsorily the land for the purpose of facilitating its improvement.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Planning Casework Unit. 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH, before May 2 2024 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.

A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ by appointment only.
